Bleeding gums

I have had sore and bleeding gums when I brush my teeth for the past week or two - I am 22 weeks pregnant, I have done a quick google of this and apparently it's quite common during pregnancy. I didn't experience this first time I was pregnant, just wondering can it become worse and is it worth visiting the dentist or just something I have to put up with till the pregnancy is over?

I am 17 weeks and mine have just started bleeding too. Last pregnancy I had it as well and it came on and off but cleared up by 30 weeks I'm pretty sure.

you're right its very common, just make sure you brush, floss and use a mouthrinse daily, if you're really worried see your dentist as a clean may help (if you're in need of one)
