Painful Sinuses

Hi girls

I am getting terribly painful sinuses - is anyone getting this that is in turn causing headaches?

I am feeling quite ik with it!

I used to get that during my pregnancy. Also had a very blocked and stuffy nose from around 20 weeks until 2 weeks after birth.

d'oh!

Are there any safe medications available to easy it a little?

You can try Fess Nasal Spray. I had problems with a cold and blocked sinus during my pregnancy and was told that was safe to use.

Theres also another nasal spray, cant remember what it's called though. It's safe during pregnancy. All it is, is just sea salt.

Yep I'm pretty sure the Fess Nasal spray is just saline as well.
I use kiddy Fess for Aidyns delicate little nose too :)

I am having this problem ATM (only my right sinuses though) and Fess is helping. 8-[

if it doesnt clear soon though id go see your doc as sinus infections are common in pregnancy , ive had it twice now :(

I have the same problem too, can't say that I've used anything for it though only the occasional Panadol if the pain gets too bad or I try to lay down for a while. The Dr did tell me of other stuff that you can use although I'm not sure of the name. Maybe ask your GP.

I had to use Fess heaps during PG as my hayfever got really bad & I was headachy all the time... So I would have a hot shower every morning & then Fess & it really helped... sometimes going for a surf really helps too (if thats possible) and I used it on Matilda as well because its safe for newborns when they need it!
