Is this odd

Ok when we were having DS2 we had Charli picked out for a girls name but obviously he turned out to be a boy. Would it be weird having two boys then having a girl with a boy/girl name? We don't know it's a definate girl but just have that feeling IYKWIM.
Tossing up with just Charli or to go Charlotte is the question? Then i really wanted Isabella as the middle name after my late grandmother, DH won't oppose this seen as both boys have middle names from his side of the family. Then the other question is Charlotte Isabella __________ too long?

How many syllables does your last name have? I dont think it sounds too long, I like it :) I wanted Charlotte. And its not like your going to say the whole name together all the time :)

I'd have her name officially as Charlotte and see if Charli suits her as a nickname :)

As for your second question, I don't think it's too long, but you're talking to someone whose daughter has 26 letters in her full name :rofl:

I really wanted Charlotte for a girls name too, its a very beautiful name and Charlotte Isabella sounds just as beautiful.

Our last name is two syllables long or 8 letters. The more i have thought about Charlotte as a full name the more i like it and the middle name is kinda not negotiable in my books and DH loved my granny to bits too. It true too you hardly ever use there middle name anyway.
Now to come up with some boys names LOL

I think its a beautiful name. I have Isabella picked for my girls (if I get one) middle name also my Nan had that name and I too think it is a lovely middle name.

nope not too long at all ... my DD first name starts with a 'C ' also and is 8 letters long and she has two middle names (one 5 letters and the other 6 letters) and her surname is 5 letters and it looks fantastic, she gets many compliments :D

But then the middle name would have to be Isabelle and not Isabella !

I don't think it's weird at all one of our twins names will have 21 letters and 7 syllables I really like Charlotte Isabella and really how often do middle names get used not everyday all the time
