Itchy legs driving me nuts!

This is my second pregnancy and this time around I seem to have had just about every possible symptom from bad morning sickness to heartburn and bleeding gums. For a few weeks now, especially at night, my legs are crazy itchy and I can't help but scratch them. They don't itch all the time but when they do I scratch until my skin bleeds, it feels so good to scratch it but I know I shouldn't. At first I thought maybe I had a reaction to landry detergent but I'm wondering if it could be pregnancy related? I also have a spot on my forearm that is itchy and I can't stop scratching that area either...any ideas?

I dont know what causes it but I sympathise. My itchy tingly skin is all over and seems to come and go. I had it first around 10 weeks for a number of weeks with no visable rash but itching, and *****les. Now its back again at 26 weeks. I am guessing its something to do with high estrogen levels or a build up of bile salts.

I mentioned it to my ob last time but he Didnt seem too concerned. Oatmeal cream and warm (not hot) showers help but so far no cure here :-( I hope it goes away soon.
