Hi all,
This morning my 23kg dog jumped up on me in excitement and pressed pretty hard on my belly. I didn't feel any pain or anything, but of course ones natural instinct is to wonder if the bubby is okay? I'm 15.5 weeks.
I have read that they are pretty well protected in there, but just thought I would check if anyone knows for certain.

You will be fine and bubs is super fine! They have more than enough fluid around them to cushion any blows like that :hug:
Your bub should be fine. My 20kg son jumps on me all the time and nothing has ever gone wrong. :p
The uterus has a very strong wall and the fluid helps absorb any shocks. It is all designed to keep bub safe despite the likelyhood of lots of bumps along the way. Try not to worry, especially if you aren't in pain.
despite how fragile bubs can be sometimes, and how quickly things can go wrong (as i am well aware) they are also suprisingly resilient!! im sure bubs will be fine, like the others said, they are pretty well cushioned in there. talk to your GP or hospital if you get worried, but i would think that would be fine. enjoy you pregnancy!

It's hard to remain completely rational at this time, so it's lovely to get reassurance.
I have not had any pain or spotting, so I am sure that all is well.
I feel sorry for my furbaby, she got a bit of a fright when I yelled at her! (big cuddles when i get home from work)

Bubby should be fine. If you have any worries or just want to check on bub see if you can go to your local maternity ward and see if they'll do a quick scan or a listen of bubs heartbeat.
