Does this sound endometriosis-y?

I'm doing the typical "google everything and self diagnose" thing, and I am coming to wonder if I may have endometriosis...
My symptoms are:
REALLY painful ovulation (I do have polycystic ovaries, but not PCOS)
rectal pain leading up to my period (not massive period pain though)
every one out of two cycles, I'll have spotting before my period
urinary urgency
ttc for two years - no diagnosed problems

I'm going to ask Dr Specialist next appointment do you guys think he'll laugh and say it's normal, or might I actually be on to something?

It certainly does sound like a possibility. I would go to your GP, tell him that you think you have endo and ask for a referral to a gynocologist. The Gyno will give you an u/s (both internal and external) and then you will need to have a laporoscopy to diagnose it for certain. Be direct with them and tell them you really feel it is worth investigating.

My symptoms were very painful periods, very heavy bleeding (was going through a maxi-pad every half hour), lightning rectal pain before and during my period and loose bowels during my period, achey back and thighs, and high temperatures.

When I had my laparoscopy my FS found endometriosis on the inside and outside of my uterus and around parts of my bowel - which explained the rectal pain and loose bowels.

Definitely tell your Dr what you are experiencing and if you are fobbed off, go and see another Dr. Although, if you are going to see a specialist then I suspect that he/she will take your concerns seriously.

i never even knew i had endometriosis until they did a laporoscopy to see why i wasnt falling pregnant! so dont take any notice of google, its evil!

It presents differently in individuals from my experience. I personally have not had heavy or extended bleeding, but very painful cramping duirng and sometimes for the day or so after my period (only with urination though). Before I had a lap, I had extreme pain, extremely painful bowel motions and when I wee'd, ovary pain (mainly left where an endometrioma existed). Also had diharoea at times, or constipation at times, fevers, extreme lower back pain, shoulder pain (right shoulder which indicates a abdominal issue) and pain down my thighs. Sometimes my cramping felt like (I imagine) contractions would, in that it came and went in regular waves.
I also once had what doctors determined to be a case of gallstones, however, further investigation said it wasn't. After the discovery of endo, gyno said it was likely a bad endo flare up.

yes i have been dx with endo as well but they couldnt find much on the laproscopes but did find 'chocolatecysyts" on my left ovary which indicated endometriosis. I too had the the severe bout of 'gallstone attacks' as well and was in the Alfred nearly ever 3-4 th month i have CT Xrays you name it i had it and found nohting then we went downt he too hard basket of 'gynea' and then they found the chocolate cysts hense endo....that was like when i was 21 thru to 29 yr old i fell pregn with my forst son at 29 yrs.

So yes it sound very suspicious to me but remember sometimes the endometriosois can hide from the laproscope ok
