Being in 2 different hospitals this week has opened my eyes. Ballarat are dead against letting me VBAC because its twins and because A is breech so I kind of got my head used to the fact that ok a VBAC is what i want but its not possible.
Being here at the Monash I haven't spoken to one dr who wants to do a c-sec they are 100% all for a VBAC but I'm not going to be birthing here :( I'll be in Ballarat.
So I guess I want advice on how to get my VBAC when the hospital say no
Monash are very pro VBAC or at least my OB who is the head there is. (I did have a csection much to his disapointment) could you not TF there? You are having twins, one is breech and you want a VBAC, thiswould all put you in high risk, which they take
I'm not sure I didn't know you could transfer, especially being a minimum 2 1/2 hour drive away that's when there's no Melbourne traffic but I do love the monash and how open to these things they are it's fabulous

yeh monash are awesome for that! noone can force u into having a csection hun. its hard, if u hadnt have been to monash u wouldnt have known its a possiblity. fingers crossed u get to birth at monash hun xxx
Chain yourself to the bed at Monash. Good luck for them transferring you back to Ballarat then!
There may be noone at Ballarat who has the experience for a twin VBAC. I'd ask to transfer to Monash if they're willing to do it.
btw - good on them! I doubt you'd have had that opportunity at RWH. grrr - one of my pet hates is how few OBs are willing to give a breech birth a go.
The only other way I can think of is to go private, but that will cost a bundle and my be difficult (though not impossible) to arrange at short notice. Do you have PHI?
Good suggestion about private Tash, This could be the best option to make sure you birth at Monash, or stay round the area when your waters break so the ambos take you there ;)
if you go into labour then they cant stop you or if you present to monash they have to take you! good luck
My first twin was frank breech and their biggest concern was if their chins interlocked whilst labour. No sure on stats or how much of a scare tactic this was but I guess what I am saying is knowledge is power! Find out as much as you can. Good luck.
What are the chances of you going early and the twins being transfered to a Melb hospital? This might be in your favour of wanting to have the babies at Monash.
If they are going to be transfered anyway why not have them where they will be sent.
