Oh please don't tell me this is my new cycle

My cycle has shortened drastically. It has dropped to 18 days! 3rd time in a row now.

I almost DIED when it was back again today.

There are two things that might be modifying things so wanted to get some feedback.

The first is I am still bfing Diva. The other is my DD1. Her period started when I was pregnant with Diva. I am told women in the same house tend to have their cycles sync. Hers just finished so could it be related?

Beginning of the year it was a steady 27-28 days. I can't do 18 days. Please tell me that this has every chance of going back to normal!

I have no idea why your cycle is shortening but I would go to your GP or whomever you see. You really need to be careful that you don't end up anaemic (sp?) having periods that often

Hmm, good idea. I already am mildly anemic and have been for years. Massive PPH after I had princess and the transfusion created some antibodies and I havent been able to get a normal rbc count since. Thanks for that. Le sigh.

I have heard about and had it happening with cycles going in sync with house mates and work collegues :) It is possible.
I would get it checked out by your GP just in case and for peace of mind, as RhiChiChi has mentioned, low iron could be a risk.

Please get checked out, I didn't realise you had all that other stuff going on too.
