New here ! about to do 1st month IUI

Hi everyone,

I've been visiting belly belly for a while but this is my first entry in this area. My husband and i are about to start our first insemination (IUI) this month. We had previously thought i had endo but since a lap proved that i don't, we investigated further and discovered that my husband's sperm are not very mobile or well shaped. Does anyone out there have any similar experience with this or with insemination ? We've been trying on and off for about a year. We're looking at this positively and at least we know what we're dealing with now as frustrating as it is ! ANY :help: would be greatly appreciated ! it looks like this is a good place to come and chat.......

Like you, this is my first entry at BB. But I am so greatful to read what everyone else is feeling - not feeling so alone now. My DH and I are also undergoing our first IUI cycle this month, after 3yrs of TTC - many ops, I had severe endo all over and cyst on my L ovary, also PCOS. We have recently found out that tubes are not blocked, however DH sperm has antibodies?? We are hopeful with IUI and sperm washing, and are trying to stay positive at this time - but with the bills piling up, the travel that is required to get to an from the specialist (approx 5hrs rtn), and the dissapointment with previous cycles , things are getting really tough.

Thanks so much for replying and sorry i haven't replied to yours..... I hope your 1st IUI went well..... It's now a few months later and we've had two unsuccessful attempts. I've just started taking clomid this month and fingers crossed we'll have success this month!!
Please let me know how you're going.... It's kinda nice to have a pal to chat to about this !
