six years

six years ago today we got our first BFP. unplanned, unexpected, definitely not unwanted. i was only about 4.5 weeks and got a BFP in a public toilet somewhere along the hume as i travelled with DH in the truck. i went home that day and started to bleed a little. couldn't get to the GP for a couple of days due to public holiday. lost the baby on my nan's birthday (29.04.05)

it was the start of a long and painful journey as we realised how much we wanted to be parents

six years, six pregnancies, only one little girl in our lives. it hurts all the time, but today is the hardest day of the year. i can't forget Anzac Day and what it means in terms of my family (both those before me, and those that never made it into the world)
