My poor little girl has her first injury

My little girl has just got her first injury, she was playing on her slide and bumped her mouth and bit her bottom lip. Poor little mite had blood pouring everywhere but it has slowed now luckily as I was seeing a trip to emergency for stitches coming on.

She is such a trooper though that after a little mummy cuddle she got straight back on the slide for another go. Although I have given her some panadol to take the pain away and she has now gone down for a sleep. I think she might have a nice fat lip when she wakes up though. The first of many injuries to come I think...

It's horrible isn't it? My DD is walking around with a black eye at the moment after taking a tumble. She has just started walking and pretty unco for now.

Oh Kelly, I'm pleased to hear she is okay. Poor little bubba. Their little mouths bleed like no-ones business when they knock them. Lots of big mumma cuddles are on order I think.

It's scary when they get their first few injuries hey.....Mr C has had constant bruises on head since he started to roll and crawl...and now he is walkinf its evn worse cos they haveno peripheral awareness! He pulled the heating duct cover off the other day and promptly fell down it.....no tears or anything but half an hour later I noticed a huge graze down his leg....bad mummy!

Poor litle thing. SOunds like she was so brave. :hug:
My DD hurt her mouth once being a dare devil on some equipment at childcare. They put some sugar in her mouth to stop the bleeding as the mouth bleeds heaps and it worked! Something to ermember if there is a next time. :hug:
