I'm having issues with DD2 we are slowly TT during the day but shes still in a nappy at night time for now. In the mornings its a major struggle to change the night time nappy even if theres poo in it.
If i didnt chase her and pin her down this morning with her screaming and kicking me in the belly she wouls still be in her night nappy with no intentions of changing it.
Has anyone had this issue before? Will she grow out of it or what? Im sick of the fight every morning
Could you give her a special toy to play with, that she only has during that nappy change? DO you have a change table or just change her anywhere? I have noticed DD will muck up if I change her on the bed but not if I change her on the change table. DD also likes to hand me the wipes (which I pull out and then give to her and then she gives it back to me) maybe that will help?
My DS is the same. He does a poo in the morning and i have to usually just grab him and rip it off, once i pull the tab he will stay still so "poo wont go everywhere", but getting him to take it off is a sturggle. Some days though if it only has wee and he hasnt poo'd yet, he will happily take it off himself!! Go figure!!!
I think its just a stage, we are having some trouble TT too, he will be happily naked all day and wee outside, but wont put clothes on without a nappy, and wont get dressed unless we are actually going somewhere!! The fun of independant thoughts!! :-)
we do have a change table but theres just no chance of me being able to lift her onto it at this stage of a multiple pregnancy, ive tried toys and bribes she just refuses to get it changed, this morning she was telling me "no we change it tomorrow":
DD2 is like that! She will put clothes on without a nappy but prefers running around naked all day and will only go to the toilet if half naked if she has knickers and pants she'll wet herself. Yep the joys of the independant child lol:

If i leave it for too long he gets a nasty nappy rash, so sometimes i remind him of that, and say "we have to change it or you get an owie bum" and some times i have to physically remind him so i do leave it til he comes and says "mummy my bum is owie" and then we are usually all good for a week or so after that!!
Have you tried saying it's time to get dressed for the day? DD loves getting dressed and choosing her clothes (which drives me crazy)? Maybe you could pretend to change one of her dolls nappies and talk about it as you do it ie oh dear dolly has done a pooey nappy, quick lets change it. Dolly is such a good girl etc etc etc then have a go at changing DD?

i tried the doll this morning as she was trying to fob me off saying the doll done poos not her ... didnt work :( getting dressed for the day thats a whole new issue in itself lol .... did i mention she is a very stubborn child i swear she has an inner demon lol

oh oh maybe a reward for getting clean nappy on? ie a special sticker or something that she picks out? Just do that long enough so she accepts that she has to have the nappy changed in the morning?
Thats a great idea, i'll have to start it i think as i was thinking of starting a sticker chart for my eldest and giving her pocket money if she completes all the tasks (putting toys away, doing her home reading book etc) so then DD2 can feel special too having a sticker chart that may (hopes, prays & begs) work! Thanks for that :D
