How long did you bleed after a c section

I am still bleeding 6 weeks after my c section it tapered off at 4 weeks to very light almost non exsistant for a few days so i thought it had stopped and DH and i got some loving in but then it started again a few days later and hasnt stopped and it's still red blood and i am having period like pain with it i only ever bleed for 4 weeks with my natural births.

I bled for 6 weeks after my c/s.

6 weeks with DD1 and 8 weeks with DD2

I think I was around 6 weeks too.

6 weeks with DS1 8 weeks DS2

Sounds like me. I bled for 7 weeks after my c/s.

I'm still bleeding ferrals. Super light though, only need a liner....

Same for me (well 6 with DS, 8 with dd1)

I'm two weeks post section and I am still bleeding, but not consistantly.

There will be totally nothing - not even a skerrick - for a day or two, then suddenly, GUSH of bright red!

Really annoying! :-)
