Am I on the right track - sleep question
I've been camped out in DD's room on a mattress for two nights now, in an attempt to get her to sleep all night in her bed. She hasn't spent an entire night in her room since November, coming into our room between 11pm and 1am every night.
The first night, I caught her just as her leg swung out of bed. I gently pushed it back, she gave a whimper, but she went back to sleep. She didn't attempt to try to get into bed with me.
Last night, she sat bolt upright in bed, I kept really still and she ended up lying back down where she could see me. She stayed like that for a few minutes, then rolled over and slept through.
I know it's going to take time, but do you think that I'll be able to have her in her bed, in her room with me in my own bed? Poor DH feels like we've had a major fight and he's been banished
I'm planning that when she doesn't really wake up and look for me, then I'll start in her room and then sneak off into my own bed, eventually getting to the point that I'm not in there at all. What do you think?
