Should I worry?

DD1 came into our bed this morning and went back to sleep but DD2 was stuffing around and I thought she would wake up, she didn't!
She stirred a few times then out cold, we all woke up properly and she was still sleeping, she roused and looked at us then. Slept again.
For about 30 mon the process repeated, her fighting to keep her eyes open then dozing off.

She would look right through you, wasn't talking much and at times didn't make much sense.
She had a shower with dp I got get out she asked for a cuddle and fell asleep on me wrapt in her towel.

She's talking now but says she's not feeling well, her eyes don't 'sparkle' and she just wants to be cuddled and carried.

She doesn't seem to have a temp or rash or anything, should I be worried?

Is she eating and drinking still?

Ok but not as much as normal, she just wants chocolate right now :rofl:

Ring the Dr and tell them you need an appointment asap. If you cannot get one take her to emergency. The fact she had trouble waking is concerning.
I was told by a Dr to never feel you are wasting the Dr's time when you are concerned about your childs health. He said you know your child better than them.
I have even stayed at the Dr's because I felt something was not right. It saved DD2's life.

I'd try and get her to the GP. It wouldn't hurt.
Sounds like she's a bit 'off'.

I would definatley head to the docs hospital.

Problem is I don't have a car, DPs taken it to the auto elec cos it's stuffed.

She's alert now but still sooky, might give her nurofen and see how she goes, shes not drifting off now but her mood is changing from happy 1 min to sooky/sick the next.

I would call Nurse on Call - I have always been told that lethergy in children should always be looked at.

Nurofen has kicked in and she seems a bit better, currently eating a little chocolate :shhh: will be keeping a very close eye in her though.

That's how DS1 was when he had Slap Cheek. Sooky and tired and he fell asleep in the swing (and on the couch, and everywhere else he was left for more than 5 minutes)

Were there other symptoms, was it constant or in spouts, she seems fine with nurofen now?

I wrote you a reply but DS1 deleted it. Grr. Maybe i should log off.

Anyway, he was only about 24 months at the time. He was up and down (happy, and sleepy etc) for a whole day, then the next day he got a temp and (sorry TMI) really smelly farts. I went to change his nappy about 5 times before the nurse at the hosp said it was common for little ones with a virus.

I'm sure you'll be fine. You'll notice if she'd better or worse and i'm sure it's just an 'off' day.
