which hospital and doctor would you recommend?

I am 6 wks pregnant with my No2. I had my first in 2009 at Masada Private Hospital with Dr Ian Barabash. I was happy with the doctor and the hospital too. However Masada closed its maternity unit this year. My options with this doctor are Cabrini, St Vincent and Freemasons. Cabrini is busy and they put me on the waiting list. I have visited my doctor and we revised my due date based on the size of the baby. Now I am waiting to hear back from Cabrini. However i do not want to go to Freemasons nor St Vincent due it is way to far where I live.

My other option is to go to Dr Lam, he delivers in SE Private and St John of God. My GP said St John of god does not have pediatric facility and I should consider bigger hospitals if something goes wrong. However I still do not want to travel to Victoria parade to the CBD.

What do you recommend? Do you have any experience with any of those doctors and hospitals? I am interested in good and bad experiences.
