Sitting. Awake. In the dark. Weird right?
Ok from my other posts everyone would know I have just transitioned my DD to her own bed in her own room after co sleeping. It is going really well, she is waking less and settling into sleep so much easier. I finding it harder but that is not what this post is about
So
I have the monitor by my bed and at around midnight I can't stand it anymore and go and peek at her since she hasn't made a peep in hours.
She is sitting up. Wide awake. In the dark. Hands in her lap. Staring right at me once my eyes adjust to the dark room.
Wtf!? I laid her down and she was instantly back to sleep.
A little freaked out I go back to bed. At 3am I wake up and can't resist checking her again.

Again she goes straight back to sleep once I lay her down and doesn't stir till morning.
Is this normal? Is she sleeping at all or just sitting in the dark waiting for me all night but not calling out!?!? Or am I just spidey sensing when she is awake? I am really freaked out. DP is worried she is too scared to call out but she doesn't seem scared.... Just calmly sitting and.... Waiting???
So weird. So so weird.
