Bubs heartbeat at 5weeks5days?

Hi ladies:hello:

Went for my first scan today and found out Im 5 weeks and 5 days, they picked up a flickering heartbeat and the lady said it was about 85bpm...is this okay ?

I think at that stage the heart is only *just* flickering into life, so I think that should be fine, for your gestation :) Congratulations!!

Yep. Thats a normal heart rate at that gestation.

Yeah, what PZ said - you may have seen the very first flickers :D

Hi!!I had my bubs first scan exactly then and mine was the same!Aparently yes its only like just flickering and that and gets faster really soon,so exciting isnt it?Congrats!!
