My throat is killing me, I feel like someone slipped me some razor blades in my sleep last night, the thing is pay day is tomorrow and I literally don't have a cent to my name til then to buy lozenges soooo can anyone plz recommend ways I can get rid of this sore throat with things I might have around the house?

Honey/lemon tea.
If it's infected gargle salt water.
Regular sips of water.

I use a cup of boiling water with honey,a bit of lemon juice (drop the wedge in there sometimes) and a piece of ginger.
Half a teaspoon of salt in a cup of warmish water, gargle as often as you can stand it.
Warm drinks with honey are good too. If you've got manuka honey, now is the time to use that.

I also have ribena with hot water.. Tasty and I think it helps ;)
