Grrr! Irregular & frequent visits from AF :(

Hi ladies.

Well I'm quite frustrated with my body at the moment. Since ceasing contraception last year, my lovely AF has decided to be regular, and then become VERY irregular and now I don't ovulate!

What have I done wrong?

I have to be on clomid to ovulate at all at the moment.

Frustrated.

My last few cycles have been like this...

Oct10- af lasted 11 days. Got to cd21 then...
another af nov10 af lasted 9 days. Got to cd25 with that cycle... Then...
Dec10- af lasted 8 days with a longer cycle... Got to cd31...
Jan11-af lasted 8 days then got to Cd19 and my body decided it was af time again!
Jan11- lasted 4 days... Then got to cd17...
Feb- af lasted 10 days...and I got to cd29!
March/April (my first month on clomid!) af lasted 5 days... Got up to cd25 had a pos hpt- eventuating in a chemical pregnancy.
April/may- af lasted 8 days and now that brought me to cd18... And the beginning of another clomid cycle this month.

I wonder if I have a problem with my lp when I do actually ovulate! :(

Wish my body was normal! Grr!

Stress.
Stress, and the hormones it releases in your body, will mess with your cycles.
You need to get your emotional stuff under control before you will be able to align your body properly and have it function how you want it to.

Limeslice. I don't think I'm actively stressing at the moment! I think I'm in a pretty good headspace but will see how this cycle goes!

hi, i totally feel your pain!!!

we were all fod it this month as AF arrived on 20/4 and thought maybe my body has got back into working order as I dont ovulate so having AF arrive by itself meant I released a little egg somewhere along the way. But in a perfect world if everything was working I shoudl be getting AF on or around today and there is no signs what so ever of her arrival so im guessing no ovulation no AF and worst of all no Preg.

When I did Hav AF I was taking Vitex and I am wondering if that helped coz after it i ran out and didnt buy any more. so It may have been that so I would reccommend trying that for a few months, anything that could help is a good thing as far as I see it.

did your gyn prescribe clomid or GP or did you have to go to a fertility specialist. I hav an upcoming appt with My OBGYN and im worried she will jsut refer me to someone else to get the help we need.
