Trying not to freak out....

So last week I think ( everything is a bit jumbled atm due to moving etc) I noticed DS2 had a rather large gland up in his groin area...I mean its huge when he lies down I can see it. I totally forgot about it and noticed it again last night so took him to the drs thinking they will just say oh its just a hernia and it will ok or it must just be a slight infection somewhere etc. But the Dr has sent us for full bloods. :(
First off the blood test was horrendous, my poor baby cried so much. And now I have nio idea when we will know when the results will be back. I am freaking out at what it could be....cancer, lukeimia(sp?) or a severe infection somewhere :(

I really hope it is nothing, but it is so hard not to worry :(

Oh how stressful. It's really hard not to worry sometimes. Especially when it concerns our children. I really hope you get good news soon.

We have this at the moment :( Had to get ultrasound yesterday. Just waiting on results.

Just wanted to say that a friend's DS had the same thing and had to have blood tests to determine what it was caused from. I'm not sure exactly what the results said but I know for sure that it wasn't anything serious at all.
Just wanted to give you a positive story. Big hugs hun.. My DS had to have a blood test when he was 3 months old and it was the most awful, traumatising experience for both him and me. I have everything crossed the test results come back all clear x

I hope your little man is ok. I am sure the Dr is just taking precautions.
