My family all had Gastro about 2 months ago, it went through each one of us ONE AT A TIME. It took about 2 weeks to be gone from the house.
I'm just wondering what is the likelyhood of us getting it again if we may have been exposed to it? I just found out that my niece has got it and we have seen her twice this week and had dinner at their house.
I'm absolutely dreading it, if we get it again i will cry :(
Please say we've had it once and can't get it again :pray:
Sorry, there are numerous different gastro bugs and if you are unlucky you could get it again, most likely the kids because it is one of those things you have to be pretty close to get. One of you getting it doesn't mean everyone will though, just be really careful with hand washing etc. DS1 had gastro last week but the rest of us seem to have missed out. Fingers crossed that you have missed out this time though.
Thanks Berreme, i really do hope we're lucky this time. Last time i was exhausted from us having it because of all the washing and cleaning i did trying to keep the germs from spreading... Not to mention my poor hands... I'm praying we don't :pray:
I hope the bugs are gone from your house for a while then also. Not fun at all.
Spray your house, especially door handles, taps and toilets, with Glen 20 or something similar. It's always worked for us :)
My sister and her family of four all got it a few months back and we were altogether the night one of our nephews started vomitting. Mum, Dad, DH, me and DD were all fine so you may be lucky this time.
