Supply question
DS is approximately 5 months and his feeding "style" has changed lately. He gets distracted really easily, and doesn't seem that interested in finishing...he used to be a very focused feeder! His nappies are wet - but not soaked like they used to be and sometimes they are surprisingly lighter than I expect. He doesn't seem to be hungry (doesn't cry, doesn't go back to breast when offered) - but I can't help wondering whether he's getting enough. When I squeeze after DS is done, there is milk there but I'm wondering if there is always milk there or is that a sign that there is plenty and if DS wanted more, it's there for the taking. I can't pump a feed because he won't take a bottle, so if I pumped there would not be enough for DS' feed.

From memory DS did the same, they are becoming a lot more aware... completely normal. He'll let you know if he isn't getting enough

Its a developemental stage they go through :) DD is still there unless she's starving!
He's becoming more aware of his surroundings. Realising that there is more to life than mummy & boobies
You could try a breastfeeding necklace, which is supposed to keep their focus where it should be, or you could try taking him to a darkened room with no distractions for feeds.
It is normal & he will over come it :)

Thanks! Will this hurt my supply while I wait for him to become focused again?

Not permanently. You will just find that when he does want to feed again he will feed every hour or two for a few days to get it back there :(
What you do need to be careful of is getting blocked ducts - if you feel uncomfortably full then please express (either hand squirt or with a pump) until you are comfy.
