Milk arrowroot funny faces?

So I have DS's party this Saturday and as per usual everything needs to be prepped on the day.:rolleyes: But I was wondering, do you think I could make the Milk Arrowroot funny faces (you know the ones with icing and smarties for eyes etc) the day before or would they go soggy and soft?

Naturally I would store them in an airtight container but am just not 100% sure whether they will be alright or not?:think: I sooooo want them to be ok so that it is one less thing for me to do on Saturday!!

Any thoughts??

If you use an icing that will set hard like a true icing then it should be fine. The kids have done them to enter in our local show and so long as they have the hard icing they are OK.

We did this as a kids activity at the party and they loved it! So if you don't do it the day before, maybe the kids can all make their own.

Great idea Junglemum! Will have to keep that idea for future, DS's party is at a playcentre so I am bringing all the food already ready.

When talking about a true hard icing Trillian, do you mean perhaps just icing sugar and water?

Yep, that is the type. If you buy the CSR icing sugar in the purple packet it has a recipe on the back that turns out really good.
