...That DD1 hasnt breastfed for three days. so i guess its over. she bf for 2 years and 10 months exactly!
im happy she stopped on her own and that it ended without tears...very unceremoniously actually...she is gettig so grown up. refused to wear her night nappy last night too, with no trouble! oh my little big girl! :cry: :)

two milestones at once - it's a bittersweet moment, you're so proud of her, but still realise, you're saying goodbye to a part of her life. Great that she got to self wean, that was my goal too.

I don't know why he bothers, it all dried up since I was about 12 weeks pg (:() I guess he just likes to test his luck!
DD1 was like that when i was pregnant. sometimes shes make a face and tell me tasted yuck and could she just have a cup of milk, but shed still give it a try the next day and most the time it would be fine. After having dd2 and my milk came back in she was so delighted and after a few suck gave me a big grin and said 'they are so juicy agian....delicious!!'':
They do like their normal tastes ... I had a fussy baby yesterday and I had absolutely no decaf or hot chocolate at all yesterday (I tend to just drink that stuff all day) so I think he was having an objection to not having chocolate milk. Fusspot.
When I'm not around the only acceptable substitute for boobies is chocolate cow's milk lol
