Study looking at "Babies Fed Breastmilk by Breast Versus by Bottle"
Thought this was a very interesting article, especially for those of us who have EE'd. My EBM-fed DS was a very podgy fellow (75-90th percentile for weight), and TBH, I'd always kinda wondered if that was cos I (with the best of intentions) had shovelled every precious ml of EBM into his little gob! Interestingly, my DD who has been a stellar BFer is actually even podgier (95-97th percentile for weight!) and has never had a bottle at all. So I had been thinking that at the end of the day, regardless of delivery method, it hadn't made a great deal of differenc to the weight of my two children.
Hence I was very intrigued to read this study. While there is a weight difference between the two groups, it wasn't statistically significant.... but it was pretty small groups too. Anyway, enjoy :)
