UTI- ouch!!!!

TMI probably, but i noticed a few hours ago I have a sudden onset of a UTI, it has already progressed to me weeing bright red blood - revolting, I feel like crying, its sooo painful to wee.

I have taken a mega dose cranberry tablet and have some sachets of ural, luckily my gp had a cancellation so I have an appt in an hour, but this is ridiculous! I haven't had a UTI for years and have only ever had a few in my life, this one has just come on so suddenly.

The only reason I can think I have it is because I had to hold on for 4 hours to wee for an ovulation test yesterday, then I did nightshift last night and didn't drink much water, just coffee and tea. Also Dh and I dtd the night before. Talk about put a girl off sex if this is the result. I hope I get some antibiotics at the dr as I am dreading the next trip to the toilet....:o

Oh ouch you poor thing made me cross my legs. Hope you get Ab's asap and feel better fast!

Drink water,water, water and water. Then when you can't drink anymore, have another glass of water!

oh owww... I found when I had one (not pregnant) it was a little "nicer" (i dont know the word im looking for) to wee in the shower.

Hope it goes away sooner rather than later.

Oh you poor thing. My advice is to make sure that even if they put you on ABs you get tested for what bacteria it is as I had recurring UTIs and turns out that I wasn't on the right ones so it would make a dent in the bacteria colony but as soon as I stopped it came back. Thinking of you.

oh ouch you poor thing, i have only had one UTI but i remember how bad it was, hope you get antibiotics and they kick in asap !
