What did you / will you get your partner for his first Fathers Day?

Its a little way off yet, but I am wondering... for those who are looking for inspiration with Father's Day only a couple of months away, what do you think you will get, or what did he get, for his first Fathers Day?

I put together one of those hand and foot plaster mould kits, painted them silver and had them framed with a photo of DS and an engraving with his initials and DOB! My then 8 week baby didn't enjoy having his feet placed in cold wet plaster!!

DH absolutely loved it. Got it on ebay, price was quite good!

Father's day last year was hard, as it was only a few days after we got news about DD's birth defect, and we were about to head to Melbourne to see the specialist.

I cooked a roast meal and bought him a, Avenged Sevenfold CD.
Hoping to do something more this year, although it will be only a few days before our wedding!!! :-)

I got DH a mug with a pic of DS1 printed on it and a card.
Cooked a nice dinner and breaky.

I bought him a manly Crumpler nappy bag so he would feel comfortable taking the kids out on his own.

We were in America for DH first Fathers day so I had to have something small that would handle travelling across the country. I got him a silver keyring with a picture of DD1 in it.

DH's first father's day, well I tried to make it a bit special for him and bought him a new set of golf clubs. His clubs were old and second hand, and I knew he'd have these ones forever. Second one, I did a photo frame - it's a three photo frame, middle picture is DD, first picture is her hand print and last picture is her footprint. This year? Who knows!

I hand painted a largish canvas and attached a photo of DS and his painted foot prints and the "walk a little slower daddy" poem some one on here shared. DP loved it :)

First Father's Day - a book he wanted plus a stubbie holder with Moo's photo on it

Second - I made him a photo book about what a great Dad he is as well as a table to take camping

This year I'm planning on getting him new ugg boots

Well its good to plan ahead i think.. lol..

What DH got for his first fathers day present was a dog lmao he wanted another Malamute so i got him one for fathers day, and I managed to get a nice fire going and made a camp oven roast for dinner yummy... This year i am not to sure what to do as his ideas are getting a pit more expensive now lmao....

Last year I bought Scott something from Ianto and something from "Cookie"... I can't remember what the one "from" Ianto was, but the other was a baby shirt that says "my dad rocks" :lol:

I had already bought "I love my Dad" cufflinks ready for Fathers Day before DS1 was due. I ended up giving him to them for our son's funeral. He still wears them regularly. This year I'll give him a card.

I can't remember what DH got for his first father's day... lol

made a photo book for DH to take away with him to work, and dressed DD in a little jumpsuit that had "my daddy rocks" or something similar printed on it

made him roast dinner too - but that's normal for a sunday here lol

a new car stereo with bluetooth phone on it so he wouldn't get into trouble yacking to me on the mobile while driving....plus his car radio was broken.....and a mug with connor's footprints on that we made at the robert gordon pottery place.

We had a photo book made here too, only photos of DD and DH, it had daddy/ daughter verses and quotes :)

DH got a new watch for his first fathers day :D

Dh got socks nag jocks from Noah for his first fathers day cause that's what you buy dads :). He thought it was great. This year for his first fathers day as a father of 2 kids, the boys have bought him some Lego technics which he loves.
