HELP!! Need little Miss Booby Lover to take a bottle for the day I am at work!

I am about to head back to work in a week, only for one day a week and DD will be at creche... but the cheeky little thing has decided she will only be drinking her booby milk from the real things, no bottles thanks!

I had to exclusively express for the first three weeks when she was born due to attachment problems, and used Tomee Tippee bottles which she happily fed from, but silly me forgot to keep giving her at least one bottle of EBM a week after we fixed the attachment problems. She had a bottle about 4 weeks ago, and would still happily guts them down, but now won't even suck once...have tried the Tommee Tippee bottles, the Avent bottles, and even tried a Latex Nuk Bottle...all a no go....

I remember this happened with my older dd as well...but at a much younger age..

Suggestions most welcome! :doh:

I should add that so far Mummy, Daddy, Big sister, Grandma and even Pa have had a go....but still no luck!

If worst comes to worst, I can duck out of work to feed her...but being that I am only going to be at work one day a week, I would rather make it a more productive day while I am there!

This happened to my neice and all she could do was send milk and hope she drank it. It took a couple of CC days, she was only going a day a week, before she took the bottle.
It didn't harm her and they offered her water or the bottle during the day so it was not lack of trying on their part. In the end she just rode it out knowing she would feed well when picked up.
Her little one was a few months older so not sure if that will make any difference. She might take the bottle for them as she cannot 'smell' you for her milk.

I found that DS had to be in a position that he didn't associate with boobies - sitting up in his baby-chair, or lying on a cushion.
If he was held then it was no-go.

We had to get him sucking (on a finger or the leg of his teddy (ew!)) first and then put the teat in.

Make sure that you send lots of small (<50ml) bottles to the creche, because they will have to piff the whole bottle if it's not taken.

My Ds did exactly the same thing about a month before I went back to work however the difference was he was 9 months old, so was having some food as well. He refused to drink the bottles I sent so the first week I went to feed him but he wouldn;t settle down to drink properly so I didn't bother the next week, after a few weeks he started to drink for the carer but it was never what he would drink from me and he was extra thirsty when we got home and he started night feeding again to those nights he had been in care to make up for it I think. Eventually he started to drink for her but it took lots of persistence from the carer. Good luck hun I hope your bubba isn't as stubborn as my DS was when it came to boobies! :)
