Freezing caramelised onion works!
So excited, we love caramelised onions on home made pizzas and burgers but it is the thing I often forget to make until the last minute. So last night I tried freezing some and then defrosted it in the microwave tonight and it was fine :D Tomorrow I am going to make up a big batch and freeze it in small bags ready to use.
I also freeze home made garlic and parsley sauce in logs that I can just cut some off when we need it. What other things/extras to meals do you freeze that work well and make things just a little but easier/fancier???
