Hi there,
Gracie is 10 days old and breast feeding has been going along good, however I woke up this morning with the inner right part of my boob really tender, it feels bruised, there is no lump or red line or anything just very sore to touch, that side still feels fine to feed off it doesn't hurt.
Could I have just massaged a lump a little to hard and caused a bruise or could it be something else???
Any help would be good!!

It sounds like a partly blocked duct. Gentle with the massage - you make it more inflamed and sorer.
The main thing is to make sure that breast is fully drained. After feeding bub you need to empty any milk that may still be in there - either by pumping or hand expressing (or ideally pumping followed by hand expressing). If it does form a lump that you can't shift then ultrasound (available from the physio) is very useful for unblocking ducts.
And if you start to feel fluey or it gets red then get some antibiotics, because that is mastitis

Yeah, what Kmn said. Work at making sure that breast is emptied well and keep an eye out for flu symptoms.

It sounds like a little bit of a blockage or engorgement - keep the breast as empty as possible. If you find that your baby is full or asleep and your breast is uncomfortably full, express some milk until your breast is soft and normal feeling. It's common at this stage of lactation for mothers to have a little bit more milk that waht their babies can drink. Use an icepack on it after you finish the feed.
Heat packs work well for me. I get blocked ducts without fail every 2-3 weeks. I currently only express but it was the same when I was attempting to BF. I've only just discovered the effect of the heat pack. I wish someone had told me about this months ago.
