Bleeding lasting 4 weeks - normal?

I posted a thread a little while ago about getting faint lines on all my HPTs. I tested over about 8 days and they were always faint lines.

Anyway about 3 weeks later I started bleeding heavily with clots and that was 4 weeks ago now and I'm STILL bleeding and still having some (though smaller) clots. I promised myself that if it hadn't stopped by this weekend that I would go to my GP but I don't want to hear it. I know I need to get a scan to make sure everything is ok and whatnot but I just don't want to. :redface:

I guess my question is, is bleeding for over 4 weeks normal? Last time I had a loss I had a D&C so have never done it naturally before and google is no help :(

I'm sorry you're going through this :hug: When I had my m/c I bled for about 10 days. My GP wanted to review me at this point but seeing as the bleeding was slowing down he was happy for things to keep going naturally. Sorry I'm not much help sweetie. Perhaps it's time to see your GP just to make sure there aren't any complications :hug:

I m/c at about 5 weeks last month and my bleeding went for 14 days exactly. I'm not sure how long you can "safely" bleed for. I know you don't want to confirm what is happening, but you have to consider your health and go to your GP xx
