Good on you for doing a Calmbirth course! I used calm birth techniques for my last two labours and they worked wonderfully :D. I felt no pain, just intense surges that I could breathe through. I highly recommend calm birthing!
The birth story for my DD is HERE if you feel like reading a calm birth story :)
I did calmbirth and have had lovely labours. You can read my last birth story in my signature but very briefly all my labours were essentially painless and I felt in control the whole time. I love the calmbirth course (and no, I don't work for them).
Seeing this thread I was wondering if there is a book or DVD that is available.. Because I wouldnt mind looking into it before my up coming labour...
Have a read through this thread Mollie89: Why We Feel Pain In Labour and Pain Relief Methods. I give this thread a lot of credit for my wonderful labours. Knowledge is power :)
wow thanks ladies :) glad to hear the techniques worked for yous..i went in with an open mind and what was explained actually made alot of sense. I have 6 weeks to go so im going to practise my relaxation cds as much as I can and hopefully all will go well and i can put this into play. Some of the stories I have heard are absolutly amazing.
I am also quite excited as I can see it being such a beautiful thing and a beautiful once in a lifetime moment for me DH and bub too, so much love and team work :)
ps- trish what a beautiful story :)
