Day 3 of my period and just did my 1st Puregon (FSH) shot. High estrogen levels.

Hello everyone! I'm new to this thread and new to IVF too.

My estrogen levels were too high to start on my FSH (puregon) on day 2 of my period at 270 and today it was 255. My FS wanted it to be 200 or lower.
Anyhow, he started me on Puregon anyway and the journey has officially begun!
I got confused over the self injections and hit my dosage on the pen quite quickly :doh: so it stung a little bit.

I don't know if I should be concerned over my high estrogen levels or not. I know that if estrogen is high it can create a progesterone deficiency because it's not in balance. It's been one hurdle after another for me. But I'll plod on and hope for the best.

I am on puregon too, not for IVF but because my pituitary gland doesn't produce enough FSH on it's own.
I was so scared of doing the injections that my first go I went in on a funny angle and I heard and felt a popping noise as it went through my skin, I thought I was going to vomit!!!
I find if I let the area that I alcohol swab dry really well first it doesnt sting, and I push the button in slowly then count to 10 before I take it out.

I just do it and bumble my way through. And keep ringing the nurses in a panic. :o
