Hi Rach, its not really reccomended to sub a gel or paste for the liquid,that being said, I did it once for DS birthday cake, I had the americolor gel and watered it down to the same liquid amount, if that makes sense.
I think its not reccomended as the liquid makes up part of the total liquid amount in the recipe? ITMS!
Hope it works out! (also the wilton red can taste quite bitter )
its the wilton (no taste) red coloring LOL, I had read the liquid colors your standard queen can make the cake bitter LOL, good thing I am doing a trial,

I did this the other day...I got 60mls of water and added enough americolor gel until it looked about the same colour as the queen stuff turned out perfect but sorry I cant help with measurements.
so 60ml water plus paste
