Implantation Bleeding...Did you have it? What was your experience?

I have posted a couple of threads about some mid-cycle blood-tinged CM I have had but now I am wanting some more specific information on implantation bleeding.

In a nutshell, I am pretty sure I ovulated on CD 14 (Thursday 11/08) or thereabouts. DP and I DTD a few times in the days before and after. Then, on Sunday lunchtime (CD17) when I wiped, I had pinky CM. This continued on and off until yesterday (CD 19). It was mostly pinky-reddish but tapered off to a brownish color (sorry for the TMI). I had a little bit of extremely light back pain/cramping yesterday. It was never anywhere near enough for a pad/liner/tampon and it was only when I wiped and not every single time.

So, like every good LTTTC, I have spent the past few days dreaming (okay, praying) that it might be implantation bleeding. Although I am pretty sure it started too soon after ovulation.

Other things to note are I have had a raging headache for a few days and I have a sinus cold. Lately, my cycle has been approx 30 days long.

In the interests of letting me fantasise just a little longer that it might be something good (ie. Implantation), I would love to hear from others who actually had implantation bleeding that ended with a BFP.

Did you have any other symptoms with it?

I'm pretty sure I did with DD2

When did it start? 3 days before AF was due
What color was it? Brownish colour
How long did you have it? A day or two
Did you have cramps/back pain? Yes I thought AF was coming or that I was coming down with some tummy bug
Did you have any other symptoms with it? Headache, crampy back pain

I've only had implantation bleeding in one of my pregnancies

When did it start? 4 days before AF was due
What colour was it? Brownish blood
How long did you have it? Woke up with it on a Friday, had it when I wiped all day. Then had slight amount of spotting on the Saturday.
Did you have any cramps/back pain? Nothing at all around the time of the bleeding but cramps the week before
Did you have any other symptoms with it? Was exhausted and quite hot

I am not going to shatter your hoping and dreaming, I haven't had implantation bleeding before but I just wanted to say I hope for you that you turn out to be PG whether impl. bleed or not.

What color was it? Started of pinky, then turned red & then brown
How long did you have it? 3 days
Did you have cramps/back pain? I had back pain
Did you have any other symptoms with it? Nothing at all

Cheshire, I particularly like the fact you had spotting at 4dpo!

I am assuming it is just some sort of hormonal fluctuation for me *sigh*.... My fingers will remain crossed though!

When did it start? Mine wasn't until i was about 5-6wks PG
What color was it? Light red/pinkish and brown
How long did you have it? On and off for a couple of days

I haven't had any implantation bleeding but I've read most of the time implantation happens between 7-10 DPO but there are always exceptions to every rule!!

When did it start? 6dpo and again at 10, 11 & 12dpo
What color was it? Brown
How long did you have it? Just once on the loo paper at 6dpo then one or two spots a day the other days
Did you have cramps/back pain? I felt like AF was on her way for 10, 11 & 12dpo so yes :)
Did you have any other symptoms with it? Not really, just felt like AF lingering. At 6dpo I felt fine though but spotting was awfully weird for me mid cycle :D

My BFP charts are linked in my sig so you can have a look (it was the Dec 2008 chart). I just tried to look but FF must be having issues. I think I remembered everything right though.

I definitely had an implantation bleed when pg with DS1, albeit it was 4 years ago and my memory sux ...

When did it start? Couldn't honestly say as my cycles were out of whack, but I was on second cycle of clomid - I "think" it would have been approx 8-9 DPO.
What color was it? Red-brown I think.
How long did you have it? Only remember it being 24 or 36 hours at the most - enough to make me think AF was on her way soon.
Did you have cramps/back pain? No.
Did you have any other symptoms with it? Nope, but I do remember there was very little blood all up - literally was a tiny bit of spotting throughout the day.

Good luck N2L - I hate how when you are LTTTC your body plays tricks and mind-games. Hope it all leads to a BFP for you though!

N2L i thought for i was out that cycle because i had only read of implantation spotting from 7DPO & i knew for sure i was only 4DPO because i was charting & using opks.

I have everything crossed you get a BFP :)

Mine was an unplanned pregnancy.

But in hindsight it was implantation that I felt, I thought I had some sort of gastro tbh, and then I had a sharpish pain as well on one side.

I don't know if that is helpful or more confusing.

My brother and SIL were LTTC so I can sympathise.

When did it start? 4DPO (got my BFP 6DPO but it was incredibly faint ... wasn't sure until 8DPO)
What color was it? Some bright red blood. Not much at all. Probably would never have known if I wasn't charting.
How long did you have it? Only noticed it on one day but might not have noticed if I wasn't obsessing over it.
Did you have cramps/back pain? Only some Ovulation pain left over from a couple of days beforehand.
Did you have any other symptoms with it? None.

I hope it is implantation bleeding for you. It sounds entirely possible to me.

I didn't have any implantation bleeding with DD but i did have cramping, quite bad cramping.

I thought i was out, that af was sure to come. didnt get a bfp when i poas at 10dpo, wasnt until i was 1 day late for af that i did. so hope that it is for you too.

I had it with DS - it was my first clue that I might be pregnant.

I am not exactly sure what day of my cycle I ovulated on so...

When did it start? I had some brownish mucus about 4-6dpo & then spotting on 8-10dpo.

What color was it? Brownish.

How long did you have it? First time it just showed on the toilet paper once (5-6dpo) with the mucus and then it was a couple of spots throughout the day (9-10dpo - I did a First Response Test that day and got a super super faint positive).

Did you have cramps/back pain? I had pains EXACTLY like AF except they started heaps earlier then I would have usually got them 6-7dpo(They ended up lasting a couple of weeks).

Did you have any other symptoms with it? I had sore bb's and bloating, bloating was probably from the Clomid though. Both of these symptoms I have with AF as well.
