Pulling out her hair

Since she was a newborn, my DD always twirled my hair as she was feeding. This slowly morphed into separating out a few stands and pulling. I wasn't overly impressed with that and encouraged her to twirl her own hair. The problem now is that in the last month or so when she is tired she will play with her hair and pull out big clumps. She only has fine hair and there is getting to be a noticeable bald patch right on top. I do tell her not to pull her hair and that it is an ouch for her head but she doesn't seem to mind.

Any ideas of how to stop her doing it?

Not sure really - can you buy her a dolly with hair and redirect her to twirl/pull it's hair instead? Sorry that's all I've got!
