Thoughts on Our Long, Long List

Our long list for girls needs some serious thinning out so after some of your thoughts - what are your favourites? It doesn't really feel like we even have a theme going here but if you have any suggestions, feel free to throw those at me too.

Surname begins with B and is one syllable. DD1's name is Imogen Jade. I didn't really want to have two girls with 'ee' ending nicknames but I'm getting over that as Imogen mostly goes by "Im" and you never really know what somebody will end up being called on a regular basis. Also, it doesn't seem to sound terrible together as long as it isn't a complete rhyme (eg. Immy & Abby, Immy and Allie etc sound alright), right?

Also curiouse about any combinations as we are yet to decide on a middle name.

Oh my that is a long list!! We don't even have one Lol.. Have you and DH agreed on all those names?? Or is that just your list ;)

My picks are Tabitha and Cadence. I like both those but DF hates Tabitha and Cadence is a friends kids name :( I have to be honest though, i don't think much of the other names ( :hide: Lucky my opinion doesn't matter lol)

I don't mind Peyton but we've picked Abigail (Abbey) for our little girl so that would be my pick out of your list :)

I LOVE Philomena, my daughter named her doll that after we read them a book with a Philomena in it. Everytime I hear it, I love it more and more!

It was a lot longer when it was just mine!! We both played around on Nymbler to make our lists and then looked over eachothers and combined the ones we both agreed on. DP's favourite at the moment is Veronica, mine is Rafaela which DP says would be fine with his Sister's Daughter being Ella but I'm almost certain it wouldn't, doh!

I am very impressed with your comprehensive list! Ours wouldn't even be that long if we included boys names too!
I like Veronica, Josephine, Clementine and Bridget.

Such a fantastic list you have there! I think your "theme" if you were to call it that is more classic names - which are my favourite too!

Definitely agree it is too close... I know it is... just. can't. let. go... oh well, that at least makes our list one name shorter haha!

Thanks everyone for your thoughts! I was actually drawn to Samara originally because of how well it seemed to flow with Imogen so interesting to see somebody else thought so too :)

You could always use some of my leftover names cos I'm not having any more (and I really really do mean it. no more Mel.. no more!!)
