Two white spots in mouth - thrush?

DS 7 weeks has a White spot under his Tongue and one on roof of mouth - could this be thrush? My nipples are fine and he is feeding fine. He does have a slight cold (curse of the big sister) but is generally happy enough.

If it is thrush is it just a case of going to pharmacy and getting daktarin gel or something or will we need to see docs.

I am sure I read on here somewhere something about if you rub the White spot can determine if thrush or not but I can't remember details.

You don't need a script for thrush medicine.
For tiny babies there is some controversy over the gel - because if used incorrectly it can be a choking risk.
So you may end up being given drops instead - if you are given these then you will need to get some disposable breastpads or cheapie facewashers, as the drops are sticky and can stain.....
