Bleeding 4 months after birth - what is it??

I am exclusively b/f my baby. Last two DD's, AF didn't return for 12 months. I have had spotting a couple of times over the last couple of months (my after birth bleeding stopped at about 6 weeks). The spotting has only been enough to warrent a liner, not a pad, and it was usually after a hard exercise session.

The other night DH and I DTD and the next morning I noticed over night I had been bleeding like a period (had a liner on overnight), but it only lasted for 24 hours. I had to have internal & external stitches after my birth. Is this what is bleeding or is it weird AF???

There is no pain, which is why I think it is not from my tearing, but if it is AF, why is it just a spot here and there and now just a 24 hour bleed.

Whenever AF returned from my other DDs, it was just like a normal AF. Both of them were CS though - would that make a difference?

Any ideas?

Don't want to freak you out but could it be implantation bleeding?

Have you had unprotected sex?

It does seem a bit odd that it is after a hard exercise session.
Maybe it is worth going to the Dr. They can do a pap smear and send you for an ultra-sound to make sure that it's nothing that needs treatment.

Id' get it checked out. it might be af. It might be you've started bleeding again, indicating some other problem (I had an infection and this happened to me, though it was more like 2 months)
