DD for the past week and a half has had this horrible nappy rash, it started off like normal nappy rash now its all blistery and is bleeding. I change her nappy frequently and put cream on, we are using sudocrem we had been using bepanthen by no luck. Should i see a doctor could it be something else?
Does she have any spots on hand or feet?? or in mouth?
Hand food and mouth is going around Melbourne really badly at present and lots of kids are getting spots in nappy area first.
Yes, when a rash gets to that stage, it needs a cream that you generally only can get on prescription..
could be nappy thrush in which case you'd need a cream with an anti-fungal in it. My DD1 had something very similar to your DD when she was about 14 months and i used Daktozin Nappy Rash/ Anti-Fungal cream and it was fantastic. it took less than 24hrs to clear the rash. mind you i had taken her to the dr and he was the one who had diagosed nappy thrush.

I'm not sure i'll have a look. Oh no i hope she doesn't have it! they are very red spots all over down there.
ETA: Shes had a fungal infection before and these spots are bigger than the ones she had then.. i think i might take her to the doctors today.
Best to get checked out as if Thrush you need a diff cream to clear it up.
If hand foot and mouth it just takes time and patience and using cream to make them feel a bit better.

Its only getting worse.. I don't know if the sores are bleeding alot or shes pooing blood but her last poo had alot of blood in it.. Im trying to see if my mum can take us to the doctors.

We couldnt get in to see a doctor but i put on some nappy rash cream for fungal infections and its starting to clear up, it had gone up her right leg. She's had a lot of nappy free time today even went outside in the nice fresh breeze. If its not cleared up by friday ill take her in then.

Daktozin is incredible anti-fungal nappy cream. You can just buy it over the counter.
I have daktarin which is what we used when she had a fungal infection when she had the flu. Its finally stopped bleeding and she doesn't scream when she wees so its working, ill keep an eye on it and hopefully it doesn get any worse.
I'm not sure if it's the same but I was given the Daktozin specifically for blistered nappy rash. You need to apply it at every nappy change and it should work quickly. DD was practically cured within 12 hours and we noticed a significant difference within only a few hours.
I hope your DD is better soon.
I might go get some tomorrow if it works that quickly.

You can just use daktarin with a barrier cream (like sudocream) over the top.. That is pretty much what daktozin is. Hope she is all better soon.
Seems she is developing a cold so am taking her to the doctors and will get the rash looked at.
