We don't know what were having yet fx for a girl.
My hubby has a friend who we maybe see once a year if that and their daughters name is the one I want. So I am wondering how close would you be to a person before changing your baby name?
TIA

That is fine. A guy my DP worked with and was good friends with has a step daughter with the same name as our DD and we havent had any troubles with it, not that i would have cared! As long as its not family or a really close friend then i don't see any issues.
I personally think that people worry too much about this, I guess I just think if it's a name you love, why does it matter if someone else you know is using it or one similar? It's not like you can sort of guarantee that nobody else til the end of time can ever use the name, so dont worry. Good luck!
My half brother is an Aiden and my DS is an Ardyn. Dad was kinda sorta not really put out at the time but he got over it.
If you truely love the name then I wouldnt worry about it at all
I agree with the others. If it was family or a close friend probably don't use it but a distant friend no probs. We had chosen or DS2 name very early and a friend of ours that we are close to but live far from named their son the exact same thing abotu 3 weeks before DS2 was born. We went with it anyway because we love it! Good luck xo
Depends how common the name is. I say if it's in the Top 50, it's fair game. If it's a little less common than that, then I probably wouldn't.
