Quick question, when did you stop sterilizing bottles, and boiling water to make up formula? Or do you keepdoing it? I've been quized by a few people about this, and I have no clue!
Any help appreciated!
Thanks

I stopped sterilizing once my kids were on full solids, so maybe 7-8 mths. I kept putting boiled water in their bottles though, I don't know why because I used to give them water out of the tap in their sippy cups.
Thanks! Similar to what I had planned to do :)
Yep I am the same.. DD is 14 months old now and I still give the bottles a bit of a sterilize in boiling water every week or two weeks when I think of it. And I use boiled water too- which she has a room temp :)
I stopped boiling DD's water just after her first birthday. I don't know what the suggested timeframe is but I personally felt comfortable with her having water straight from the tap at that point. We also switched to cows milk then so it was only her water bottles that I was filling.
I stopped sterilising the bottles in a steriliser at about 6 months and used tap water from about 9 months. She is still on formula im not ready to switch to milk just yet. I give the bottles a good soak once a week but i always rinse them in boiling water.
