Too keen, or just annoying???

I am waiting to hear back from a job that I have had an interview for. The interview was over a week ago, I have called once last week and I was told they were still interviewing and it may take a week (a week being today)... so whats the line between showing I am keen by calling again.. or is that just annoying and then detrimental to my chances??????

The thing is that for me to get the job I need the kids in day care on three specific days- I have been talking to the Day Car director and she can only hold the places for a certain time, today being my last day before she may get a call and give my days away- meaning if i DO get the job I MAY not be able to take it if there is no place for the kids!!!!!

So should I call the employer AGAIN and explain this or does that just make me annoying????:wall:

I think it's ok to call again today. Once a week is not overly annoying and you can ask for a time frame in which they will make their decision and let them know that you have to hear back from them within a couple of days or you may not be able to take the job.
Then go and cut the phone lines into the CC centre.

Thanks.. oh I maybe should add that I DID call again last night but the manager wasnt there but I left a message... I know she is in today.. so still ok to ring again?? :)

Well I called.. its going to take a bit longer- she said there are problems with Head Offcie who have to go through the applications too and then get back to her and they are taking a long time :wall: she said she probably wont know until AFTER school holidays- so like two more weeks!!!


So I guess its time to ge the scissors out!!!!
