How many wet nappies is normal?

My DD is 7.5 months, and recently her wet nappies have decrease drastically since being sick.
She had a virus/teething for about 2-3 weeks and lost half a kilo in two weeks due to not eating or drinking.

She has since recovered, and is drinking (BF'ed) and eating well (also drinking from a sippy cup of water with meals)
But her wet nappies havent recovered? Before she got sick shed have at least 4-5 wet nappies, with one of them being VERY wet (her overnight nappy)
But since then, and especially in the last week or so, I'm lucky to get 2-3 decent wet nappies out of her!

I'm rather confused as she's drinking as per usual (around 6-8 feeds in 24hrs) and she also eats most days too. She doesn't seem dehydrated, so I'm wondering if this is normal?? Any replies would be most appreciated!!

Well, I'd say if everything else is looking ok, then maybe it is. Keep an eye on it maybe. To be honest, I've never really bothered counting nappies after 3-4 months.

I should mention she has been better from that for about a month-ish, and from 2 weeks ago, regained the weight she lost, but she did have something of a cold 2 weeks ago, where she had a slight fever and runny nose, and we were forced to have the heater running so she was just in a singlet to stop her constantly coughing all night, so I don't know if that means anything?

When they are sick, normal goes out the window! (That's the deal with normal!)
Are we talking cloth or disposable?
Basically, now is the time to instate Barb's motto - keen calm and keep breastfeeding. it exceptionally unusual that a breastfed baby will dehydrate. I agree with Mad B - most people don't count nappies at this stage, and babies thrive.

What is normal for mine is not normal for yours!
My kids have all been different. This time I have a very light wetter. I worry that he's not drinking enough, but he feeds 2-3hrly round the clock (breastfeeds). I get maybe 4 decently wet disposables out of him a day. I usually chnage him 5 times a day though and one or two of them are usually pretty dry maybe 1-2 wee's in them. But this is normal for him and has been so since birth.
DD was a huge wetter and would pee though any nappy I put on her. I used to change her 6 or so times a day, usually including one or two changes of clothes because she wet through them. Even now she always seems to be going to the loo!
DS1, I don't remember so much so I guess he wasn't such a huge wetter that I remember like DD, but also not so little that I remember like with dDS1!

Before she was sick, we were using cloth, after (because she was pooing like 10 times a day - no exaggeration!) we used sposies til they ran out, which is now. For awhile after she got over her bad bug, she was still giving about 3-4 decent wet nappies, with her night one still being VERY wet. The others were wet, but not massively heavy usually, ITMS?

I was just worried because it's a sudden change in wet nappies and it's rather confusing because she's drinking plenty?
