Woo hoooo its finished
On the 12th July I started a X-stitch baby quilt.
Originally it was for my bestie, the design was chosen as it was suitable for either sex. I got half way through it and, having also discovered besties baby was a girl and seeing her nursery, decided that the quilt would be made for my DD as I had seen a different quilt that will suit besties nursery much better.
SO without further blabbering we went from THIS ont he 12th July

to this completed today 25/9

I did not work on it every day granted and I did run out of the out line thread (fortunately I had a similar colour in an old pattern) but I think for 11 weeks I did pretty good.
All it needs now is a backing fabric and a good wash :D
Cannot wait for the other to arrive (which had better be soon).

Beautiful work :) So jealous of your speed. Would take me years to embroider that. So glad you found a matching colour to get it finished.

It looks fantastic Nae Nae!! You must have the patience of a saint to do something like that!

Well done Nae, that seems to have come together so fast (for me anyway) and it looks fantastic! I am so happy that after all of your hard work you decided to keep it :D
