Slingers

We love our sling, but we have 1 consistant problem, overheating of the baby.
Nobody likes a grumpy sweaty baby so- how do I dress her when we are slinging it?
And any other tips would be appreciated

How long on average do you wear your child every day?

It depends where we're going, but on an average day I'd wear her for 1-2 hours a day. Sometimes more, sometimes less :)

I tend to dress her normally, but wear thin clothes myself so we're not both sweltering...

I wear ds one to two hours a day, but dd was worn four or more hours a day. I always dress them in as many layers as I wear. I find vests are good for outdoors so they don't get too hot. I haven't found ds gets too hot, but dd was a summer babe (that horrendous summer of 08/09) and on the 43 degree days she was just in a nappy.
