Flat head tails are usually good. I just coat in flour and pan fry in butter.
My nieces and DD love Tuna Pasta.
My DD will nibble on salmon or ocean trout, both very subtle in flavour that I have pan fried in butter.
My boys like steamed and baked salmon, tuna melts and tuna patties.
DS2 loves crustaceans and ceviche made with whiting.
Salmon and tuna melts (from pioneer woman) are popular!
My DD love tinned tuna mixed with mayo, corn, grated carrot and chopped celery. She will eat it as a salad sort of thing, or on a sandwich or with crackers to 'dip' into it. Or sometimes I cook baby potatoes and make it into a tuna potato salad, which I love too!
How about homemade fish fingers. We do this for dinner, but it would be just as good for lunch.
My DH loves prawn sandwiches- small fresh prawns mixed with shredded lettuce and seafood sauce in a sandwich/ wrap/ roll.
Seafood sushi.
Tuna/salmon mini quiches.
DD also loves sardines mashed up with a little salt, very finely chopped spring onions/onion and a dash of vinegar on toast.
Tinned tuna/salmon on a baked potato.
Salmon or tuna patties....we all love them. Tuna patties made with roast sweet potato are yum. I also make tuna pie (made with tuna, eggs, jatz biscuits, some cream and cheese) like a quiche and super yum.
Home made fish fingers are a winner also.
DD's favourite food is sushi. She cannot get enough!
She also loves tuna (straight from tin, patties, casserole, sandwiches), smoked salmon, any sort of fish cooked in any sort of way, calamari, prawns, crayfish, etc etc...
Not a huge fan of fish fingers though
DS will eat most any steamed seafood, as long as it doesn't end up rubbery.
Fishcakes, sushi and grilled fish also good.
or anything mixed into a risotto or stirfry or pasta.
prawns and scallops and calamari are a bit hit or miss, depending on how soft they are.
3LM the tuna melts are very similar to what you make with the tuna salad for DD except its on muffins then under the grill with some swiss cheese on top
