Question about Clomid.
Hi everyone. I am on my 3rd cycle with Clomid and normally I only get symptoms (hot flushes, cramps) around ovulation. Here I am almost a week after ovulation and I am really tired, have some little pain in my left side and keep getting major hot flushes. Is it the Clomid or could it be something else?

I would call the doctor who prescribed it for you, I only had side effects on the days I actually took the tablets (although I was lucky and my side effects were quite mild). Good luck, clomid helped us concieve DS so hope you have the same succss. Is there any chance you could be O'ing late? I was temping when I was taking clomid to help pinpoint exact O day.

I was using OPK's and I did have 4 days o positive opks before the eggie popped. So I dunno if I O'd earier than I thought. I really have no idea tbh. Will see GP Thursday

I am afraid that my friend has this. How will I comfort her?

It's the clomid. I used clomid to get pregnant both times and had MAJOR hot flushes both times!!

Hi there, I did 3 cycles of clomid 50mg, I found the side effects got stronger/worse each month, so maybe you are experiencing the same?
-
What Saffy said. The side effects get stronger each time. I had major hot flushes. Hate clomid!
-
Same here, I had to sleep with a fan on all cycle!
-
Thanx ladies, I guess I wanted to hear that is was a pregnancy symptom lol
-
I'm going for preg symptom DDB!!! Sounds like you popped a good eggie this month.
-
I found my reaction to clomid varied each month but got worse as time went on. Hot flushes definitely.
I hope you get your BFP :)
-
Babes - I'm only going to repeat what others have said, but I had hot flushes on and off for a couple of weeks after I stopped the pills.
Do hope it's a pg symptom for you though!
Hugs x

Hi Ladies- I was hoping to get some answers from anyone who has been on clomid. I am currently CD25 and used clomid this cycle. The nurse told me to expect some side effects but I really only had some hot flushes, I didn't think I had even O'd because I didn't have any painful cramps but my cd21 bloods confirmed I O'd so now I am wondering why I am getting short lived sharp pains, very crampy for 3 days, sore nipples and being a cranky ***** (poor DH). Is it normal to get side effects at the end of the clomid cycle?

Hi Mrs Mac *waving*
Yep - well, it was normal for me anyway. Raging hormones in overdrive sounds about right.
Hope it points to good things for you!

Hello I am a week behind you on my second round of clomid. Last cycle I was amazed at lack of side effects, I had one extremely feral day but apart from hot flushes nothing else.
So far this cycle the same except for lots of o pain.
I think everyone is different but hope these are special side effects with a bfp ending. When are you testing?

Thanks guys, it's all so confusing. I just feel all over the place and i'm guessing it's from the clomid. AF is due on Thursday so I'll POAS then but the FS has told me to call up if AF has not arrived by Sunday to have a BT done. I go back to see my FS on Wednesday to organized my next cycle (moving onto IUI if this cycle did not work) so I will try and get them to do the BT a day early. I have my FX that I at least have a reason for feel like a mental patient LOL.

Joeve- best of luck for is cycle hun. I hope the TWW treats you well. I swear the waiting is worse than any other time of the month, except maybe seeing another BFN.
