Playgroup KK ideas

It's getting to that time of year again ...

KKs are a-coming!!

Our mum's group does a KK for Christmas and birthdays, a $20 limit, and I've got a boy ...

I can obviously go to the shops and pretty easily pick up an age appropriate gift (18 months), but here's my pickle ...

What's something within that price range that they wouldn't have just grabbed themselves???

Ideas?

A torch? From the adult section that will take a bit of biffo or if they still make them the animal ones that the mouth opens for the torch. We had a tiger that roared and the boys loved it.
Now they have a wind-up but 18 months might be too young for wind-up.

J got an air rocket thing from Australian Geographic, it shoots a foam rocket up super high if an adult does it and kids can jump on it too! Super fun and you can buy replacement rockets there as well!!!
